About Tri En Communications

Tri En Communications is a national consultancy with a focus on research, adult learning and communication. Developed in 1998, Tri En Communications specializes in 1) research related to adult learning and worker-centred literacy; 2) consultations and needs analysis;  3) program and project evaluation, and 4) project management.

Values and Principles
Tri En Communications believes that certain values and principles are important for its work to be successful. This includes respect for all stakeholder interests, inclusiveness, confidentiality of results, clear goals and plans, and clear language principles. Whenever possible, Tri En works collaboratively with clients and partners to help build their own capacity and understandings.

Sue Folinsbee Sue Folinsbee principal of Tri En Communications is an experienced adult education practitioner and researcher. Her main areas of expertise are adult literacy with a special focus on literacy and work. She has over 20 years of experience working with the not-for-profit and public sectors, business, labour, and all levels of government. She works successfully with a wide range of people and interests, and diverse geographical settings.

She is widely published and an accomplished researcher, evaluator, facilitator, project manager, instructor trainer, writer and curriculum developer. Sue holds a Master of Adult Education from St. Francis Xavier University.
